It was Rika's birthday. Everyone was busy getting ready to throw a birthday party for her. Jeri is getting ready the birthday cake, while Kenta was buying presents. Rika was in a railway station. She had just came back from somewhere. She was talking to Takato on her cellphone.

Just then a train just sped over the station. The train turned out to be a Digimon. Guilmon Digivolves into Growlmon and tried to stop it, but it failed. Takato got up the train, and had told Growlmon to look for Henry. Rika and Renamon also got on the train by jumping onto it from a bridge.

Meanwhile Henry and his sister were on another train and it suddenly stopped. He got down and met with Kazu and Kenta with Guilmon. They also got on a small train which was then powered by Guardomon.

In the railway administration was Mr. Yamaki, who is trying to stop Trailmon from causing chaos in the city. Back in the train, Takato met up with Rika, and tried to tell her something, but it seemed that Rika was a bit moody in at that time. As she was trying to hit the engine of the train, something happened. Something had controlled her, making her recalling her long lost father, and sang a song that had a deep meaning towards her. She never liked the song but she still felt like singing it.*

Takato and Guilmon managed to make Rika conscious by destroying the parasite Digimon which had been controlling Rika all the while. The Trailmon digivolved. More Parasite Digimon appeared. At this time Ryo appeared and helped Takato and the others. Finally Guilmon bio-merged with Takato and Digivolved into a Gallentmon. Gallentmon had deleted all of the Parasite Digimons.

Then after, it was Rika's birthday party, where Ryo, Henry and even Impmon were having fun there. Suzie invited Rika to sing a song, as Takato gave a "please, not now" look at Suzie. Rika just finished her sip of drink, and walked off... to behind her house... and looked at the setting sun, singing.
